What is ISPM 15?


The International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures number 15 (ISPM 15) is an international standard that aims to reduce the spread of pests through wood transport materials.

Which products are concerned?


The ISPM15 treatment can be applied to all our wood packaging products (pallets, crates, packing boxes, dunnage, etc.). The choice is made by the customer according to the use he wishes to make of the product. For any export, it is strongly recommended to use treated pallets.

 What process is used?


At Palettes Services we use the traditional heat treatment, our products are placed in the adapted oven, in order to reach 56°C in the heart of the wood. The treatment can last up to 3h30

The standard is not comsory for intercommuity circulation, except for wood packaging materials coming from and going to Portugal .
